DE Shores travel guide
The coast of Delaware is made up of a string of little beach towns, all very different from each other. Fenwick Island, is a super small, quiet little beach town made up mostly of sand dunes and bay marshes. Bethany Beach is more of a family town. I actually grew up having a family beach house in Bethany (hence my name) so it was a big part of my childhood growing up and who I am, literally. It’s really only popular during in season for a couple months out of the year, similar to Dewey Beach. It’s another little beach town, probably the smallest of them all & most known for its bars, especially the country must. Dewey and Bethany get pretty quiet in the offseason so most people head up to Rehoboth Beach because there’s a wider variety of restaurants that stay open year round. Rehoboth has tons of yummy restaurants and is probably best known for its shopping. Home to so many cute boutiques (from home goods to gifts to trendy clothes), as well as the Tanger Outlets which has more designer and national chain stores.
With it’s close proximity to Ocean City ,its no wonder why people venture up and explore the quaint little beach towns along DE’s shore!
